In Loving Memory of Tina Downey
We lost a sunflower a few days back … Tina has gone to rest.
She brightened our days during the 2014 April A-Z Blog Challenge with her warm enthusiasm and cheery words. I felt comforted by her urging us along and not to give up. I could feel her warmth and kindness over the airwaves.
Tina, you will be sorely missed by all who knew you, whether close friends and family or the blogging community. You touched many lives.
To Tina’s family … our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. May her dear soul rest in peace and may you gain comfort knowing that she is home with the Lord.

Thanks Morgan!
Susan, this was perfect. And beautiful. Thank you SO MUCH for this! <3
What a lovely remembrance from one beautiful soul to another through flowers.
Thank you Stephanie.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful remembrance. The blogging community was certainly expanded by the A to Z Challenge, where I also met you. I wish I had experienced the light so many of you have expressed in Tina but our paths never crossed. Still, I grow bright and sunny sunflowers and will reflect on them in relation to the light this supportive blogger shared with our community.
Thanks so much Stephanie .. she was a sunflower indeed.

Tossing It Out
Good indeed … and deserving of them all. Thank you for stopping by Arlee.
Beautifully said, Susan, as you always do on deep, emotional subjects. Or any subject. Tina was a blogging friend, probably one of my very first blogging friends. A huge personality, very friendly, welcoming, helpful, everything anyone would want in a friend. Just a few days before I got the news, she commented on something I posted on FB, with her usual humor. I will miss he dearly.
She was such a generous person wasn’t she Silvia. I’m so glad Arlee Bird posted a photo of her some while back – it was nice to see her lovely face. Thank you for coming by.
This is very lovely, Susan. I was comforted by your feelings for Tina, and sharing sorrow lightens each of our loads. I treasure every one of you who came to me through the A to Z Challenge.
Thank you Sammy D. How true that sharing sorrow lightens …

I feel sorrow for your loss, yet know she is only a loving scene away. She would naturally be more than your words. You are a loving soul therefore I believe she was. My prayers are with you, her family and
A loving scene away … how dear is that Marsha. Thank you for coming by.
I am sorry for the loss of your friend from the Bloggers’ Challenge. Having a champion in your life to cheer you on is valuable. She is still cheering, just on a different sphere.
I am sending love and hugs!

You would have met her too Gwynn on the A-Z? She was valuable indeed and kept us going …
